Say It Ain't So, O

Ugh.:
Winfrey talked to Kris and Bruce Jenner and their combined offspring at their Hidden Hills, Calif., home. Also on hand were Khloe Kardashian’s husband, Lamar Odom, and Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend, Scott Disick, OWN said Monday.
I'll state the obvious and say how disappointing it is that desperation for higher ratings and buzz has led Oprah to interview the completely uninteresting Kardashian klan clan. Odom and Dissick? No, OWN producers. The only interesting Kardashian beau of late is Kanye. How hard can he be to book given his much discussed appearance on the upcoming season of the Kardashian "reality" farce. OWN producers, you missed the get.

Tellyphile Pic of the Day: Is That You, Linden??!

The Hollywood Reporter captures actress Mireille Enos flaunting what she's been hiding under those baggy sweaters and ho-hum ponytails when she portrays The Killing's morose Detective Linden.

The shoot was part of THR's Emmy Roundtable series with TV drama actresses and also featured a stunning shot of Mad Men's January Jones (after the jump)...

"Mad Men" Season 5 Finale Critic Roundup

LA Times' Meredith Blake:
Season 5 has felt rudderless and crowded with intriguing but underdeveloped characters, forgotten story lines and missed opportunities to engage meaningfully with the social changes of the late ‘60s. There have been some wonderful moments along the way, but it all culminates in an episode that’s shocking only because it’s so completely anticlimactic. Who'd expect "Mad Men" to go out with a whimper and not a bang?

Desperately Seeking Peggy

vulture.com/AMC
In the hours before the Mad Men finale which is falling upon us entirely too soon...Margaret Lyons over at Vulture wonders aloud what we've all been thinking and poses an interesting potential twist for the finale:
Will Peggy come back to SCDP? Likelihood of a satisfying resolution: Low. Oh, we hope Peggy comes back, for good, but that's just because she's the best. For character-integrity sake, she should stay gone for at least a little while. It took so, so much for her to leave the agency in the first place that it seems very unlikely she'd come running back two episodes later. (Unless there's a time jump! Then all bets are off.)
