"GMA" Beats "Today" Again, Morning Shows Now Securely in the Hands of the Lowest Common Denominator
I love to see an underdog triumph, but when said underdog is less like Brain from Inspector Gadget and more like Scooby Dum...not so much.
Good Morning America has doubled down on dumb. Just look at them. And the problem is the vapidity isn't limited to Lara Spencer segments. The entire broadcast is essentially like watching a 3-hour long Extra. It wouldn't surprise me if this morning's lead story was the death of the world's fattest cat.
And for their steady descent to an Idiocracy-style broadcast, they're rewarded with beating Today for the second time in three weeks (Via).
